“Planting trees is an integral component of our pledge to environmental responsibility and progress as we adjust to the changing energy sector,” he noted.
GRIDCo is embracing smart grid technology and preparing for enhanced integration of renewable energy sources, highlighting their partnership in the Bui Solar Project located in Yendi.
SSA calls for strategic action
National Chairman-GRIDCo SSA, Wisdom Kojo Adenyo, noted that the company has achieved significant progress over the past 16 years, thanks to the efforts of its staff and management.
“Stable power supply is essential to national development and GRIDCo has played a central role in achieving that,” he said.
While acknowledging past successes, Mr. Adenyo stressed the need for continuous innovation and strategic thinking to address future challenges.
He added that the congress provided an opportunity for members to reflect on how best to support GRIDCo’s growth and sustainability in the years ahead.
