“Justice served”: Relatives of Pahalgam victims cry tears of happiness after launch of Op Sindoor

In an intensely moving reaction to India’s latest military action in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Asavari Jagdale, whose father Santosh Jagdale was among those killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, shared her feelings about the assault conducted by Indian armed forces. This took place in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on May 7, as reported by ANI.

In an interview with ANI, Jagdale stated, “Tears of joy streamed down our faces. Modi has exacted vengeance, and the manner in which the mission was christened made those tears unstoppable. For the sisters who had their vermilion (a symbol of marriage) wiped out by these terrorists—India retaliated at nine sites. This sentiment is genuinely unparalleled, and we simply couldn’t cease shedding joyful tears.”

Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people, including several tourists from Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dwivedi, father of

, another victim of the Pahalgam attack, said that the move made by the
Indian Army
instilled a sense of faith in the country’s government.

“I have been consistently following the news. I commend the Indian Army and express my gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, who acknowledged the suffering of the nation’s citizens. Given how effectively the Indian military has dismantled the growing terrorism in Pakistan, I extend my appreciation to them… Ever since hearing this news, everyone in my family has felt a sense of relief,” stated the father.

stated that justice was ultimately delivered to the victims.

On April 22nd, when we lost our child, we declared that a revolution was imminent in our nation. We firmly believed that Prime Minister Modi would undertake decisive actions to eradicate terrorism. I wish to express my gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for the genuine honor that the army paid to our son today… stated the family member.

On Wednesday, India conducted its most extensive attack within Pakistan’s recognized territory since the 1971 Indo-Pak conflict.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi continuously tracked the developments through the night, according to sources. Additionally, all nine objectives were reportedly hit with success.

The Indian military chose specific targets aimed at neutralizing key JeM and LeT leadership figures responsible for orchestrating terror strikes within India.

India initiated Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist networks within Pakistan and Pakistani-controlled areas of Jammu and Kashmir, which had served as bases for planning and orchestrating attacks against India.
