“It’s a privilege when churches invite you,” he stated.
I spent time engaging with the members of both churches, accompanied by my minister, Advocate Misheck Mugadza, who is an excellent leader.
“Churches play a key role in shaping our society and uniting the nation and this is the reason l have seen my President Emmerson Mnangagwa visiting churches on countless occasions.”
Muchina has been visible on the ground as he has been on an anti-drug abuse crusade in Chikanga and other communities in Mutare.
“I am still fighting drug abuse in Chikanga and most parts of Mutare,” he said.
I’m assisting young people in launching income-generating initiatives because when you’re occupied, you’re less likely to dwell on drug use; an unoccupied mind can be perilous.
Studies indicate that the misuse of drugs and substances is rising among young people because of financial struggles.
“I am aligned with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s view that young people should refrain from using drugs. Youths, as the future leaders of this nation, I urge you to abstain from drug use,” stated Muchina.
President Mnangagwa has called upon judges and magistrates to impose strict jail terms on drug traffickers with the aim of reducing drug and substance abuse within the nation.
