Omanhene of Shama Urges Sub-Chiefs to Unite

The Omanhene of the Shama Traditional Area, Osagyefo Kwaw Fraiku IV, has emphasized the importance of subordinate chiefs working together in harmony and assisting in identifying the key development issues facing the council.

He pointed out that this would allow them to overcome most of the challenges and promote development.

He emphasized that development is everyone’s duty and solidarity is crucial—it encourages teamwork, common goals, and ultimately achieves higher levels of accomplishment and welfare for both individuals and communities.

“When we come together, we can utilize our individual talents, combine our assets, and accomplish greater outcomes. Unity fosters a feeling of inclusion, reduces disputes, and cultivates a more affirmative and efficient setting,” he emphasized.

Osagyefo Kwaw Fraiku IV advocated for unity during his inaugural traditional council gathering, which fell on the same day as his birthday celebration in Shama within the Western Region.

He observed that various realms are experiencing considerable growth because of their solidarity: “Serving as Omanhene, my dedication lies in enhancing the prosperity of Shama; however, it fundamentally relies on your cooperation, along with the support of the chiefs and residents, to unite and strive for an equitable distribution of national assets.”

He thanked the chiefs for participating in his birthday celebration and urged them to keep up the affection and support they had shown.

The Omanhene of Shama stated: “I am convinced that the betterment of each community depends on the love bestowed today, tomorrow, and in the days ahead.”

“I will keep seeking your guidance in improving our management practices and pledge to maintain an open-door policy for suggestions and constructive feedback,” he stated additionally.
