On May 7, India carried out the execution of
Operation Sindoor
, where nine terrorist locations deep within Pakistan were obliterated in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 innocent people.

Indian Armed Forces successfully also neutralised Pakistan military’s attempts of a large-scale drone and missile attack on multiple Indian military installations across Northern and Western India during the night of May 7-8 and an Air Defence system at Lahore has been neutralised.

The Harpy drones designed to attack radar systems were used by the Indian armed forces to target enemy air defence systems in Lahore, after Pakistan attempted to engage a number of military targets on the night of May 7.

Military objectives were attacked across Northern and Western India, encompassing locations such as Awantipara, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nali, Falodu, Utarkaili, and Bhuj, through the use of drones and missiles. The Integrated Unmanned Aircraft System Detection Network along with air defense mechanisms successfully countered these threats.

The remnants of these assaults are currently being retrieved from several sites that confirm the Pakistani involvement. (ANI)
