The hosts of “Scout6 Early Job Place” came up with an unusual viewing commitment for their audience.
At the KBS1 ‘Scout6 Rookie Finder’ (henceforth referred to as ‘Rookie Finder6’) production launch event held at the KBS main office in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 8th, Jang Sung-gyu, Da-yeong, and Jonathan stated, “Should the viewership surpass 10% this season, we will keep our promise.”
Previously, during the production presentation last season, Jang Sung-gyu remarked that he would donate everything he owned if the show’s ratings surpassed 25%. This garnered notice as he made an impressive promise. At the time, Jang Sung-kyu explained, “Given that dramas were averaging around 25% back then, I set that benchmark. However, now I’m upping the ante; instead of aiming for 25%, I’ll be pledging at just 10% viewership.” He continued, saying with humor, “Last year, I wagered all my assets, but this round, let me put down triple what I had before.” The remark sent chills through everyone present.
When Dayoung heard this, she stated, “Should the ratings surpass 10%, I’ll provide coffee tea for all students during my visits to each school starting with the following episode.” Jonathan mentioned, “December marks the time of the high school festivals, and should the students wish it, we would like to take part in these events,” his voice carried along with the breeze.
In the meantime, “Early Jobster 6” is a program designed to support the aspirations and development of vocational high school students who venture into the professional world before their contemporaries, much like pioneers embracing novel technologies and occupations armed with advanced knowledge. The show is set to debut on KBS1 at 7:40 p.m. on the 9th.
