Nassol’s Top Gold: Male Professors in Their 40s Unveil Their Journeys at Gospec University

The 26th Gold Solo Men’s Shells competition has concluded.

On the 7th, SBS Plus and ENA’s reality dating show “I’m SOLO” revealed the impressive “Gold Standard” among the 26 single men as they removed their veils during the “Self-Introduction Time.”

This marks the 200th episode of ‘I’m Solo.’ The show started as an eight-week pilot project. Over this time, up to 318 individuals—men and women living alone—have traveled here. This achievement can be attributed to the dedicated support and affection from its audience.”

Following this, Hyun-sook garnered four votes, whereas Young-sook’s group members Soon-ja and Ok-soon did not receive any support at all.

Separately, Young-cheol and Young-sook Kwang-soo returned from their dinner shopping. The soloists who sat around played Smoltor, and Kwang-soo picked actors Lee Min-ho and Yoo Tae-woong as his ‘Finding a Look After’.

Young-cheol mentioned, “Yesterday, I arrived late as I spent time drinking and then slept through the night. On average, I consume alcohol around seven times each week. Recently, after getting a health examination, they informed me that my condition remains quite good despite all of this. This has been going on for more than ten years now,” to which Defconn responded with confusion, asking why he would bring up such topics. Looking somewhat displeased, he glanced at the alcoholic beverage. In jest, Young-cheol added, “These days, I’m attempting to reduce my intake.” Despite expressing fondness towards Young-ja, she revealed her preference for individuals capable of enjoying drinks responsibly without excess. She also commented candidly, “It seems like Young-cheol lacks self-control when it comes to alcohol consumption.”

Every female cast member had their eyes on Young-ho, known for his sense of humor and sharp wit. When discussing him, Jung-sook mentioned, “As anticipated, the dialogue flowed easily since he expresses himself articulately,” yet she also noted, “Sang-cheol turned out to be even more impressive when I saw it.”

When she expressed her desire for some budaejjigae, Gwang-soo rose to prepare it, and Hyun-sook, observing this, sprang into action to assist him, generating an enthusiastic atmosphere.

The inaugural self-introducer, Young-soo, astonished everybody when he mentioned being born in 1980 and turning 45 this year. Living in Busan, Young-soo earned his doctoral degree from Seoul National University. He has also served as a researcher in the United States and currently holds a professorship at the Busan University of Technology, as was disclosed.

This year, Young-ho is 39 years old and has been working as a civil servant at Incheon City Hall for seven years. Shaking slightly, he confessed, “I’m quite popular; both men and mothers seem to like me.” When asked about his ideal partner, he stated, “I find myself drawn to people who have an appealing appearance, behavior, or a charming quality. Ideally, they would prioritize their family above all else,” he explained.

Young-sik surprised everyone by revealing that he was 41 years old, born in 1984. Following the female cast, Song Hae-na “They all look very young. I thought Youngsik was younger than me”I was surprised. Young-sik is a physics major at Korea University and a game planner within a game company.

Young-chul was also 41 years old, boasting a tall height of 193 centimeters. Young-chul shocked me by saying, `I think you think I’m an athlete, but I’m a calligraphy major.’ He’s doing a calligraphy job. I’m also doing a big writing performance with a big brush,” and Song Hae-na said “That’s what I did at the show.”I was glad to see him.

Yong-chul boldly stated, “Although it might seem unfortunate to mention, I put in roughly three hours of work each day and manage to make just as much money as those who work longer.” Additionally, I enjoy playing golf and am aiming to become a pro at it.

Kwang-soo presented a cryptic sheet of paper along with a box of Dubai chocolates. The document turned out to be titled ‘Boyfriend Proposal PPT’. He was born in 1982 and is currently 43 years old, employed at the Iraq division of a major construction firm. With twelve years of experience abroad under his belt, he had attended an international school in Saudi Arabia where he became proficient in both English and Arabic.

Sang-cheol, born in 1985, had been with the supply chain management team at a major corporation for 14 years. Kyung-soo mentioned, “I am the eldest among us men; he is 46 years old, having been born in 1979. At present, Hyundai Motor Company is focusing on developing new automotive engines. Interestingly, this year marks the 20th anniversary of my professional journey, much to everyone’s astonishment.”
