Jaipur Police Hosts Laughter Yoga Session to Boost Well-Being of Officers

The event, organized by the Ashram organization, was designed to enhance employees’ mental and physical well-being.

Yogesh Dadhich, ACP (Traffic & Administration), emphasized the significance of these efforts, noting, “Our profession as police officers entails immense pressure because of the challenging tasks we undertake. The persistent strain during our round-the-clock duties led the Commissioner of Police along with high-ranking officials to seek methods for alleviating stress. In response, today we hosted an event at the traffic police headquarters and different outposts, where selected staff members were invited to join in. This initiative was supported by the Ashram organization, and the reaction from our constables and head constables has been extremely favorable.”

He went on to say that these events contribute positively to general health and wellness, indicating his intention to organize similar sessions in the future.

“I’m delighted to share that we successfully organized this event and intend to host similar initiatives in the future to encourage camaraderie, enhance both mental and physical well-being, and boost overall effectiveness within our team,” he stated.

Pooja Sharma, the Secretary of the Laughing Club, highlighted the wider implications of their effort, stating, “The police department bears the significant duty of ensuring public safety. We strive to organize events that contribute positively.”
