Firm Triumphs: Celebrates Top Digital Innovation Award

Digital Music Commerce and Exchange has celebrated its groundbreaking digital product, SyncAll, which has been recognised as the 2nd Runner-Up for the Most Innovative Solution at the AfCFTA Hackathon, initiated by the Nigeria AfCFTA Coordination Office during the Science of Trade Conference 2025.

SyncAll, according to the organisation, is a digital platform that curates, enriches, and manages comprehensive metadata for African music.

It says the award highlights SyncAll’s potential to revolutionise the African music industry and drive significant growth in the continent’s digital economy.

The AfCFTA Hackathon brought together 60 talented teams to develop innovative solutions that foster intra-African trade, digital commerce, and cross-border collaboration.

“SyncAll stood out for its practical and scalable approach to enhancing African digital solutions, earning mentorship and special recognition,” a Thursday statement said.

“We are deeply honored by this acknowledgment from the AfCFTA Hackathon, which confirms the dedication and foresight of our team,” stated Ezekiel Olayinka, the General Manager at DMCE. “SyncAll aims to revolutionize Africa’s music industry through a unified platform designed to link artists, simplify licensing processes, and enhance worldwide visibility.”

The organisation noted that SyncAll’s key features included a quasi-human and AI-driven metadata enrichment process, comprehensive search and advanced filtering, an integrated platform for commercial licensing, and transparent royalties collections and claiming.

The functionalities, they noted, empower African musicians and rights holders to effectively monetise their work and expand their reach.
