Morocco Glows as Honored Nation at Europe-Africa Forum in Marseille

The fourth iteration of the Europe-Africa Forum, a corporate meeting that convenes top-tier leaders, investors, and policymakers from both regions, commenced on Tuesday in Marseille (located in southeastern France). The event took place at the Palais du Pharo within this port city known as the Phocean City, honoring Morocco as the guest nation.

And the Aix Marseille Provence Metropolis with the theme “Collaborative Innovation,” as stated by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh; the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali; the Minister Delegate responsible for Investment, Convergence, and Evaluating Public Policies, Karim Zidane; along with the Moroccan Ambassador to France, Samira Sitaïl.

Many key economic figures and heads of state-owned entities are attending this event, including CGEM President Chakib Alj; AMDIE Managing Director Ali Seddiki; Tangier Med Group CEO Mehdi Tazi Riffi; and Casablanca Finance City (CFC) DG Saïd Ibrahimi.

United by their combined assets and mutual goals, these two regions must show courage, creativity, and the capacity to develop a fresh approach,” state the organizers, driven by the belief that “the Mediterranean serves as both a binding element and collective asset, making it feasible to take part in shaping the coming ten years, so long as the groundwork for fair collaboration is established.

During the day, attendees will delve into discussions covering subjects like funding innovations, “Which Cooperation Strategy for the Mediterranean?”, “Could the Mediterranean Port Serve as a Model?”, “Is Europe-Africa Ready to Challenge the New World Order?”, “Synergy Between Business, Education, and Development: What Successful Trio Across the Mediterranean Shores?”, and “Agenda 2063: A Fresh Chapter for the European-African Alliance?”
