Supermodel Daughter Sophie Dahl Inherits Less in Julian Holloway’s ‘Carry On’ Revelation Will

The will of Carry On legend and Doctor Who actor Julian Holloway has come to light, showing that his supermodel daughter received only a small portion of his substantial wealth.

The actor, who frequently appeared in the Carry On series during the 1960s and 1970s, passed away in February at the age of 80 with almost £500,000 to his name. The estate amounted to £493,917 but decreased slightly to £480,891 following some deductions.

Documents have now exposed that Holloway left only £25,000 each to his supermodel daughter Sophie Dahl and stepdaughter Kate Gregory.

The documents indicate that his stepson, Joel Gregory, who was named as the executor of the estate, received the majority of the funds.

Sophie, aged 47, came into being as a result of a fleeting romantic encounter between Holloway and Tessa Dahl—the offspring of a renowned best-selling writer.

Between 1967 and 1976, the actor was featured in eight ‘Carry On’ movies, such as ‘Carry On Camping’ and ‘Carry On Up The Khyber,’ along with one of the ‘Carry On Christmas’ television specials.

In 1961, he started his career with an appearance on The Avengers, followed by his significant breakthrough role as Quentin in the 1962 television run of Our Man Higgins, where he portrayed this character across four episodes.

Julian soon became renowned as a key figure in the Carry On film series, appearing alongside actors like Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtrey.

Afterward, he appeared in an episode of the police series The Sweeney and also acted in various other television programs.

The performer gained recognition as a prominent voice actor in the United States before taking on the role of Captain Zed in “Captain Zed and the Zee Zone.”

In 2004, he lent his voice to Siegfried Fischbauer in “Father of the Pride,” and portrayed Prime Minister Almec in multiple episodes of the enduring series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”

His skill in vocal performance was evident in his work with video games, such as in “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” and “Medal of Honor: European Assault.”

In 1971, Julian wed actress Zena Walker, though their marriage ended soon afterward.
