New Delhi [India], May 8 (ANI): On Thursday, the PIB’s fact-checking division uncovered a fraudulent DRDO communication that has been circulating online, falsely claiming a malfunction in components of the BrahMos missile.
The Fact Check team on X posted, “A letter signed by scientist A.S. Kumar from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is circulating online claiming failures in BrahMos missile parts. This letter is false. The DRDO of India hasn’t released any such document. Moreover, there isn’t any scientist with the name A.S. Kumar working at the Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE).”
