On the 9th, 935 Entertainment stated, “We urge everyone to be particularly vigilant regarding the recent scam where someone pretended to be one of our employees to obtain money fraudulently.” It has been verified that an individual posed as a celebrity’s manager, contacted a small business owner, placed substantial orders with multiple restaurants and wineries under the pretense of organizing a corporate dinner, but failed to show up, resulting in losses.
“Our staff and administrators never ask for monetary transfers or external purchases at any time,” he stated. “Should you receive such requests, refrain from making any payments or responses, and promptly inform the authorities if any harm comes about.” Meanwhile, 935 Entertainment acknowledges the gravity of this issue and is committed to doing everything possible to avoid future damages,” he emphasized.
Previously in the day, the agency JG Star for singer Song Ga-in and Baro Entertainment for actor Byun Woo-seok both warned about the harm caused by pretending to be their staff members to achieve monetary benefits.

It has been verified that someone pretended to be a celebrity’s manager to deceive a small business owner into accepting large-value orders for meals and wines from multiple eateries and wine firms, purportedly for a corporate event. This resulted in losses due to non-attendance or ‘no-show’.
In no circumstance do our staff members or representatives ask for monetary transfers or urge the purchase of items from external sources.
