Sustainable Management Approaches for India’s Tomorrow
From May 9th to 11th, 2025, this significant gathering aligns with the nation’s goals as outlined in Vikshit Bharat 2047. It seeks to convene top scholars, professionals from various industries, and research specialists to discuss sustainable routes toward India’s future progress. This event will highlight the fusion of ancient Indian wisdom with modern corporate strategies to promote an equitable, robust, and pioneering economic advancement.
This three-day gathering seeks to offer an engaging forum where leading thinkers can discuss India’s changing economic environment and its ambition to maintain robust growth amid global issues like climate change and ethical use of resources. With India now ranking as the fifth-biggest economy globally, the conference will center on achieving equilibrium between swift advancement and sustainable, resilient, and equitable improvement.
The conference will highlight four main themes exploring various aspects of sustainable management. In the initial theme titled “Indian Knowledge Systems and Values,” discussions will center around traditional Indian ideologies such as Yoga, Ayurveda, native leadership principles, and spiritual insights—illuminating their relevance for contemporary business approaches and comprehensive wellbeing initiatives.
Next, under “Sustainability in Business,” topics will revolve around minimizing ecological footprints through eco-friendly financial systems, promoting a regenerative economy via circular models, fostering innovative green solutions, and encouraging modest resource use.
Moving forward with “Marketing Management,” sessions will delve into emerging tactics within cultural, health-focused, and therapeutic travel markets, along with targeted outreach techniques in agricultural areas, building strong brands, and understanding shifting customer preferences.
Lastly, the concluding topic named “Performance Management” aims at evaluating and boosting efficiency levels across industries including public health services, farming, supply chain operations, and monetary institutions—with special attention towards advancements brought about by technological shifts and an increased priority placed on measuring sustainability outcomes.
This gathering will host notable presenters from across the world such as Prof. Robin Jarvis (from Brunel University London), who advises the European Federation of Accountants and serves on the board of directors for the International Small Business Journal; Prof. Sanjeet Singh (of IIM Lucknow), an associate editor at Management Decision; Shri C. M. Bhandari, a retired Indian diplomat having served as ambassador to Poland, Cambodia, and the UAE; Prof. Monomita Nandy (also part of Brunel University London), affiliated with the International Journal of Finance and Economics; Prof. Satish Deodhar (at IIM Ahmedabad), acting as dean and penning works like Economic Sutra; along with Prof. Jayanth Jayaram (University of Oklahoma), serving on the advisory panel of the International Journal of Production Research.
