Enterprise Group Backs New Dialysis Center Launch at Mampong Akuapem’s Tetteh Quarshie Hospital

On Friday, May 2, 2025, Enterprise Group PLC, alongside the Administration of Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital and esteemed collaborators, inaugurated an advanced Dialysis Center at the facility—a significant step toward enhancing essential medical services throughout Ghana. This initiative underscores their commitment to broadening crucial healthcare availability across the nation.

The well-equipped dialysis center will greatly enhance the care for patients with chronic kidney disease, particularly benefiting those living in the eastern region and nearby areas.

As part of its wider dedication to fostering sustainable impact, this program aligns with the Enterprise Group’s objective to offer an advantage to everyone interacting with the Enterprise brand.

At the event, the Group CEO of Enterprise Group PLC, Daniel Larbi-Tieku, shared insights into the company’s continuous path of meaningful contributions.

Last year, during the celebration of Enterprise Insurance’s centennial—the longest-standing branch within our organization—we posed this straightforward query: What kind of heritage will we leave behind? This isn’t merely about our commercial achievements, but also about the extent of our influence.

The outcome has led to multiple transformative initiatives—including 16 wells across the country, the refurbishment of the Butterfly Center at Ridge in Accra, and now this Dialysis Center—which holds a special place in my heart as I am a proud native of this land.

Mr. Larbi-Tieku stressed that the center is not considered a charitable endeavor, but rather a corporate social investment for the benefit of the community and its members.

We characterize success as the impact on the lives we touch and the futures we contribute to building. Our belief is that businesses flourish when the surrounding communities are also flourishing.

The inauguration event was graced by Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament, who endorsed the project and stated emphatically that “access to healthcare is a fundamental right guaranteed by our constitution and should always be regarded as such.” Present at the occasion was Samuel Awuku, the Member of Parliament representing the constituency, who lauded Enterprise Group for demonstrating commendable leadership and fostering enduring positive effects.

The recently opened Dialysis Center includes state-of-the-art dialysis equipment, a well-equipped waiting room funded by Enterprise Group PLC, along with supportive services designed to guarantee that patients can obtain high-quality treatment nearer to their homes.

This initiative is aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, underscoring Enterprise Group’s conviction that effective businesses go hand in hand with societal advancement.
