Party Leader Morara Kebaso has recounted an incident where his wife helped him get out of debt, preventing him from facing serious consequences.

The individual, stating they were 29 years old and had a claimed net worth of KSh 100 million, gave an exclusive interview.

How Morara Kebaso’s wife got him out of debt

He explained that at the time, he was living a lavish life that he would find himself taking clients’ money and knowing that he will replace with the next pay.

In his words:

When I began sensing a steady flow of income, I adopted quite an opulent lifestyle regarding what I purchased and the locations I traveled to. It reached a stage where I felt tempted to use clients’ funds or deposits they had provided. When a client hands over money, there’s a strong urge to ‘use’ that cash, assuming that more would come along tomorrow, which was particularly challenging for me.

This type of lifestyle led to him accumulating debts, but his wife, who possessed savings unknown to him, came to his rescue.

I encountered issues, however, my spouse came to my aid since she possessed undisclosed savings. These funds were subsequently utilized to alleviate the debt burden. Feeling both embarrassed and grateful, I adjusted my stance and established an independent bank account specifically for client finances. This sum amounted to approximately KSh 2 million, which pulled me out of financial trouble,” he mentioned additionally.

Morara mentions that since then, he has learned to keep his funds apart and only uses the income earned directly from clients as spending money.

The emerging political figure has two children and has mentioned that occasionally they wish they weren’t so publicly engaged, allowing them to spend more time with their family at home.

“Being involved in politics is challenging as it robs me of time I could spend with my wife, son, or daughter. This has significantly impacted my family life; however, perhaps one should express gratitude to the matriarch of the household since she has managed everything and compensated for my absence,” he noted.

What Morara plans post 2027 election

The aspiring political figure presented his strategies in case he falls short of securing the presidency he aims for.

He disclosed that he had been engaging in discreet discussions with various energetic and youthful politicians with the aim of establishing a single political party.

Morara observed that defeating President William Ruto in 2027 should be straightforward, but he wishes for a more capable successor.

The head of the party acknowledged that if he doesn’t succeed in 2027, he will transform into a provocative political figure constantly challenging those in office.
