Customers have criticized Warner Hotels following the introduction of new fees for services that were previously complimentary.
The leading hotel chain, boasting 16 adults-only locations throughout the UK, now imposes fees for activities such as archery, crossbow shooting, and axe throwing. These experiences typically come with a price tag of £8.50 per participant at most of their hotels, while they charge £9.50 at their more upscale Reserve properties.
Multiple guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the additional fees in their feedback regarding their experiences at Warner locations.

, ‘Andrea Mck’ gave a three star review and said: ‘I noted on the Entertainment Guide that Warners are now charging for £8.50 for outdoor activities which used to be free.
‘As a result, we decided against participating in archery, something we were really excited about.’
A different customer named Brian Green left a three-star review stating that the prices at Warner have significantly increased over recent years.
They stated: “They began charging for activities like archery, air rifle shooting, and axe throwing – at £8.50 each per activity. They might end up pricing themselves out of the market.”
In another three star review on Trustpilot, ‘Peter Budworth’ warned Warner not to ‘take their customers for fools’ and called the extra charges ‘pure greed’.
One customer rated the company one star on Trustpilot and commented that charging £8.50 for archery was completely absurd.
Even with the unfavorable feedback, Warner Hotels maintains an overall four-star rating on Trustpilot.
Warner Hotels informed MailOnline Travel that these fees were implemented starting April 4, with other services still being complimentary.
A representative from Warner Hotels stated, “Our commitment lies in providing exceptional and unforgettable experiences at outstandingly affordable rates.”
‘To improve the availability for guests and protect the cost of the overall holiday, we’ve made the decision to introduce a charge for selected activities – allowing guests to tailor their stay and only pay for the experiences they choose to enjoy.’
