Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, has commended the organizers of the Kwahu Business Forum for establishing a robust platform that supports entrepreneurs and fosters economic growth.
During a post-event radio interview in Accra, Ambassador Amadu praised the initiative, calling it a crucial chance for entrepreneurs to forge connections, increase their visibility, and establish relationships with key figures in the industry.
“This was my inaugural attendance at the Kwahu forum, and I must admit it has produced outcomes swiftly; two banks have reached out to me at the Afro-Arab Group Head Office post-event,” he disclosed, emphasizing the quick business prospects and collaborations sparked by the gathering.
He highlighted that these platforms are essential for motivating and fostering the upcoming cohort of business leaders.
“Platforms such as the Kwahu Business Forum act as launchpads for entrepreneurs to increase their visibility, acquire knowledge, and establish significant contacts,” he pointed out.
Ambassador Amadu encouraged the organizers to broaden the forum’s scope beyond Ghana’s borders as well. He suggested extending invitations to companies throughout Africa for upcoming iterations, which would be consistent with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
“I highly recommend that the organizers think about involving businesses from additional African nations in future events. This step would enhance both commercial connections and cross-border collaboration. Such an initiative could position the forum as a vital hub for trade among African countries,” he proposed.
In addition to business aspects, he emphasized the forum’s importance for enhancing tourism and supporting local economies. He further stated, “This project will strengthen numerous entrepreneurs as well as encourage tourism within the area.”
Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, a distinguished entrepreneur with varied business ventures and ties to the Zongo communities, recognized the guidance within the organization. He praised former President John Dramani Mahama and ex-Chief of Staff Julius Debrah for their commitment to supporting small businesses across the country.
“I had been hearing about Kwahu for many years, but this marked my inaugural visit—a result of the forum. The level of organization, along with the prospects for networking and the underlying vision of this endeavor left me quite impressed. This initiative is transformative for individuals such as myself who are involved in entrepreneurship,” he stated.
An ardent supporter of youth and economic advancement via the Afro-Arab Group, Ambassador Amadu reiterated his dedication to backing programs that encourage enterprise development throughout Ghana and the African continent.
As an integral component of continuous initiatives aimed at enhancing commercial expansion, tourism, and economic prosperity within the Kwahu region, the Kwahu Business Forum persists in drawing varied attendees. This forum provides a distinctive platform for partnership and potential entrepreneurial ventures.
