A man from Nigeria living in Canada, Ejikeme Benedict Ifeanyi, has taken to social media to express his frustration regarding his wife’s requests during their divorce proceedings.

In a Facebook post, the individual claimed that they were the person who expressed disinterest in continuing the marriage.
He said:
As I headed over to collect my kids from their mom, an email from her attorney landed in my inbox. It’s truly devastating because I have no desire to reconcile this marriage. The whole setup you orchestrated with the police backfired on you.
You want to remove my children from me. We provided you and your mother with a life beyond your wildest dreams! Now you’re trying to claim my money without allowing me any input into my children’s lives. I am stepping forward. Just in case this happens tomorrow, let it be public.

The man said:
Dear children, your mother is striving for full custody and wishes to have sole decision-making authority. Her request includes my role being limited to providing financial support solely so she can use social media platforms like Facebook to express her concerns publicly regarding absent fathers.
“You guys know I gave you the best of life while with you. My dear daughter, I hosted the biggest birthday party in the history of Sudbury when you clocked one year, Samuel Eweama and Sunday Chile Thelma were witness to it. Let this be an evidence that I will never give up on you my children. No matter what!”
Responses follow the husband’s wife’s requests.
